At dawn on May 11, 2019, Mexican authorities raided Florian Tudor’s home in Cancún and the offices of his main company in Mexico, Top Life Servicios, arresting him and five others. Ten months later, Tudor alleged that the agents had taken from him jewelry, cash, and computers worth a total of US$2.7 million. An official investigation was launched against the officers, Mexican media reported. At a press conference in March 2020, Tudor claimed he was physically and mentally tortured during his detention.
