In a reply to reporters’ questions, a representative of Alisher Usmanov wrote that “The assumption that Mr Nathan Viner used Mr Usmanov’s funds to purchase real estate is incorrect. There is no business or personal relationship between Mr Usmanov and Mr Viner.”
