The 85-meter superyacht is owned by British Virgin Islands-registered firm Kazimo Trade & Invest Limited. French authorities who seized the vessel in early March say Sechin is Kazimo’s main shareholder.

Imperial Yachts, a company that manages the yacht, claims that it is “not owned, nor associated with Sechin.” Rosneft told OCCRP that Sechin does not own any firm that has Amore Vero in its possession.
