Bermuda-flagged Eclipse is owned by British Virgin Islands-registered Kane Global Holdings Limited.

Kane Global’s ownership is unknown, but Eclipse has been widely reported to be Abramovich’s yacht for several years, and he has been photographed aboard the vessel.

Documents provided by a former crew member reveal that regular guests on the yacht included Abramovich’s family members, his business associates (including his close friend, recently sanctioned Russian oligarch Eugene Shvidler), and the daughter of Boris Yeltsin, Russia’s first president. The former crew member told OCCRP: “As far as all of us onboard were concerned, the yacht was RA’s.”
