The Dilbar Superyacht
Hamburg, Germany, Germany
- In its sanctions notice, the U.S. Treasury stated that the Dilbar was owned by Usmanov.
- In a reply to reporters’ questions, an Usmanov representative wrote that the yacht had “long ago been transferred into an irrevocable trust” from which Usmanov had withdrawn as a beneficiary. The beneficiaries of the trust were members of his family, the representative wrote.
Named after Usmanov’s mother, the Dilbar superyacht — one of the largest in the world — has two helipads and, according to the U.S. Treasury, “one of the world’s largest indoor pools ever installed on a yacht.”
